FAQ

Is my image uploaded to a server?
No. This is a 100% client-side tool. All processing happens locally in your browser. Your images never leave your device.
What image formats are supported?
We support all standard web image formats, including JPG, JPEG, PNG, WEBP, GIF, BMP, and SVG (as images).
Why does the color look slightly different?
Images may have noise due to compression or lighting. Our algorithm extracts the most representative colors, but exact pixel values may vary. Use the manual picker for pixel-perfect precision.
Can I export the whole palette?
Currently, you can copy individual color codes. Click on any color block and copy the HEX or RGB value to your clipboard.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes! You can use this tool on your phone's browser and upload photos directly from your camera roll.
What is a HEX color code?
HEX is a hexadecimal color representation (e.g., #FF5733), widely used in web design and CSS for its compatibility.
Can I get CMYK values?
This tool primarily provides screen colors (HEX/RGB/HSL). For print colors (CMYK), please use our "Color Converter" tool linked below.
Is there a file size limit?
There is no hard limit since it's local processing. However, very large images (e.g., >20MB) might cause temporary browser lag.
